DevOps Engineer | AWS Cloud Solution Architect | Automation Enthusiast
Hello! I'm Moises, an aspiring DevOps engineer with a strong foundation in Linux system administration, gained through hands-on experience managing my own homelab environment. My journey into DevOps is fueled by a deep interest in automation, cloud infrastructure, and continuous delivery. I’ve been actively learning and working with tools like Terraform, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes (k3s), and AWS to build scalable, secure, and resilient systems.
I hold a CompTIA Linux+ certification and a Windows Server 2016 Certification, demonstrating my skills in both Linux and Windows server environments. I have also been managing my own Windows homelab, where I created my own domain, added computers to it, and managed users, groups, and group policies, gaining practical experience in enterprise-level Windows administration.
This website is one of my personal DevOps projects. I containerized it using Docker, deployed it on a lightweight Kubernetes cluster (k3s), and used a custom domain purchased through AWS Route 53. I exposed the service to the internet securely using Cloudflare Tunnel (cloudflared). The application is managed using a GitOps workflow powered by GitHub Actions and Argo CD, enabling automated CI/CD and declarative Kubernetes management. This project demonstrates my practical understanding of infrastructure as code, container orchestration, cloud DNS, secure service exposure, and modern DevOps pipelines.
I'm passionate about bridging development and operations through modern DevOps practices and cloud-native technologies.
